The Box is a magazine style WordPress theme that works straight out of “the box” with minimal or no configuration. The only thing you are required to do is create a new category called “Featured” if you do not already have one and you are set. No plugins, no custom fields, no pulling the rabbit from the hat, just plan ol upload and activate. The theme is semi-grid 2/3 column layout with featured post, dropdown menus, JS tabber like interface, widgets, SEO corrected and Adsense styled. Content area is over 500px wide, both right sidebars are 180px wide, perfect proportions for images and Google Adsense alike. Remember Ian’s earlier theme that placed first runner-up in the Sandbox Theme Competition? Ian has outdone that with his new and fabulous theme Theseus. Since the launch of his new design related site Theme Shaper, Ian has been providing readers with valuable information about CSS, designs and WordPress; this will be his first offering of a free WordPress theme. This theme has one main content column and three bottom (side)bars, the colors and structure reminds one of Hemingway, but that is where the similarity ends.
